Maintaining your Results - massage are recommended often, especially due to the fast-paced and stressful lives that we are living.
To maintain the results, you can try the following :-
- Fatigued or tired (although this could be a sign of deep relaxation, especially if you are usually always on the go)
- Increased sweating your body feel warm due to your improved circulation.
- Increase in urination due to the body releasing toxins.
- Irritable or energised
- Weepy / emotional (low or high) due to the release of tension.
- Runny, stuffy or blocked nose
- You may feel generally sleepy or tired.
- Less stressed, more relaxed and improved your sleep patterns
Once leaving the massage treatment :-
- Drinking water is required to eliminate toxin and lactic acids developed during the massage process.
- Try to relax and take it easy for the rest of the day – if you can and feel the need to, nap.
- If you feel aching and soreness in the muscles, this will be short-lived and followed by a relief from muscular tension. You can reduce the soreness by take a hot bath before you go to bed.
- Avoid alcohol, smoking, caffeine and fizzy drinks as they can dehydrate your body and add more toxins to your body. This would reverse the effects of the massage, since the massage is in-turn aiding the body in removing the accumulation of toxins.
